11 days can be veeeery veeeery long... im finally back from my confinement haha and im finally a botak boy... CONTRARY to what everybody thinks i didnt cry when they cut my hair ok! haha actually it feels nice and smooth...

Im really lucky i got into SPF, its suits me perfectly haha... my life revolves around the numbers 0,1 and 8... i enlisted on 08/01, my squad is NS 01/08 and my T-Pass is 1008... lol i asked my mum to buy 4D for all the three numbers haha

First day there, the first thing they asked you to do was to strip! haha to check whether you have any tattoos or not... i dont see the purpose haha... the rest of the day was just administrative stuff... spent most of the day either sitting down waiting to be called to register or waiting for the inspestor to come... there must be some angel looking over squad 1 haha... my FI (field instructor) OC squad, range instructor and dojo instructor are all DAMN nice haha unlike squad 2... the poor souls haha i was 2 rows away from fate when they seperated us into the two different squads...

One thing good about SPF is that its really very lax there... haha unlike army where you have like a certain amount of time to do something, SPF is slow and relaxing... PT was of course horrible on the first few days, where the FIs are purposely tekan-ing us, but besides the morning pt, the rest of the days are more den perfect haha... after breakfast or lunch, we'll just go back to our barracks and slack there from as little as 1 hour to sometimes 2 hour plus haha... law lessons are even cooler haha we'll go to the aircon class room and slack and cool down for 1 hour plus before our OC comes in haha... the lecture theatre has this unexplainable power of making you fall asleep haha the chairs are just too comfortable... range was much more fun den i expected haha, although the aircon in the life firing range was freezing haha the revolver is damn heavy... i cant imagine myself carrying it on my belt without my pants from dropping... lol haha... dojo was the most memorable experience i ever had in the past 11 days haha i think its just because my squad's really lucky to get all the nice and fun ppl... the PDT (police defensive tactics) are so amusing... we had a little game where the instructor decided to have some innovative of making us do push ups... haha we were standing at attention while he tried to make us laugh, and when we did we have to do 5 push ups... haha but it was so worth it, by the end of the 5 minutes i did 15 push ups and developed eye pain and stomaches from laughing and tearing haha

Ns life was so much more fun den i anticipated... im staying in Charlie Coy and its like the nicest place to stay haha the recreation room is like our haven haha aircon with bean bags couch board games haha... and the toilet is so unexpected haha its like 100 times better den my school toilet... except for morning and night, the shower is warm haha... i havent had my swimming lessons yet but i hope the trend doesnt break and my instructor is nice as well haha...

THIS IS IT!!!!!!!

This will be my last post for a very looooooooong time... actually just 10 days LOL haha but still its a long time... i'll be out on the 18th January Friday (TWO days after my birthday lol)...

I'll STILL have my phone hahaha if any of you are feeling really bored enough, you can sms me to update me on whats happening on the outside world... my phone will be OFF during the day and ONLY on-ed at 6pm to 10pm everyday (to conserve battery life!) so please dont call me... SMS me i'll receive it at night -)

Well... thats it BYE for now

Its almost there... life before ns has never been so packed... i must be crazy enough to crash VJ 2008 orientation... lol but it was fun... went on thursday afternoon after meeting the house comm people (eugene daphne hoon jing yi) at PS to eat lunch, went over to vj at 2 to join in the fun... mass dance cheers etc etc... the rest left early while i crashed another og... gotta know the new j1 freshmen... gotta admit, i still have not seen ANY og that even came close to being like icis, invigour!

I was the only year 3 who went back again on friday to the same crashed og... i guess its the need for exercise that made me do it... and it was showing... that my body desperately needed the exercise... after not breaking out into perspiration for 2 months since A level, running around and playing games made every muscle in my body ache like MAD!

Saturday was the start of my madness... piano in the morning at 9, rushed to meet invigour ppl at 12, went to eat lunch buffet at siam kitchen at suntec, met with my crashed og at 4, and went mass dancing at suntec (in a thunderstorm)

I guess it takes something as big as ns for you to realise you have so much to do, so little time... so many ppl to meet up, so little days left... will (most) probably go back on monday to join them again for sea regatta at east coast, before joining rameses ppl for dinner at night, and THAT'S IT end of my normal life for the next two years...

I dont even know whether i'm actually looking forward to ns or dreading it... at least im glad im in spf, for such a slacker like me i think its the most suitable place to go... contrary to what everyone says, i will not cry when they cut my hair... please theres something called growing back... ok maybe i'll just miss it a little... lol

Happy New Year! Hope 2008 will be a much better year than the last... Went to Zhiwen's house on the 30th at night to watch national treasure, and i swear im never going to take a taxi anymore in my life... cause my things were damn damn heavy i was to lazy to carry it, i took a taxi from paya lebar mrt to her house near chung cheng, and the price (which is supposed to be around $3) was feasking $6! im going to boycott cabs for the rest of my life... which was duely proven after the movie

Caught the 1025 show at marina with zhiwen minhui wanying, we hadnt had our lunch so we decided to smuggle food in, passed by ljs at 1010 wanted to buy that but someone saw someone they did not wanna see... went to macs at 1015, when we reached there we decided to eat ljs in the end, and guess what, when we went back there at 1020 it was closed... LOL so we had to rush back to macs at 1025 to buy our dinner to smuggle... mh was the first to order (McSpicy) and was the last to get her order and i almost got a free meal haha... the timing was perfect, when we sat down the movie just begun... Perfect timing! all the advert missed -)

Movie was great! although i like the first movie better, i hope the third one would be nicer... it was 1245 when we finished, and we did the unthinkable... we decided to (rather than die and take a freaking taxi) WALK back from marina square to zhiwen's house at KATONG haha it was an interesting adventure... never saw singapore so calm on new year's eve at 1am... reached kallang 24hrs macs at 230 to slack and buy drinks for a while before moving on and reaching her house at 3am... taxi sucks walking rocks!

Zhiwen and minhui went to sleep at 5 plus while i rewatched alvin and the chipmunks again til 6am before deciding to call it a morning... the next thing i knew was "joel wake up! its already 11am!" there goes our macdonalds breakfast haha...

We went to pasta in the end and met with jiawei and yuheng and zw's mum, who kindly asked the person to switched my chao da tasting chicken sausage... went back to zw's house where i zonked out again, on a mattress in front of the tv while they went to pick up more ppl from the bus stop and buy drinks... dinner with zw mh wy jy yc jw yh zx eating the infamous block 123 fried chicken wings... seriously its deee-leee-cious!

Time passes so slowly after that, we were waiting like stones for the countdown to start... and literally stoning and staring into blank space... actually we werent waiting much for the countdown, we were just waiting for 2008 so we can watch the horror movies we rented haha... watched Final Destination 3 and Stay Alive til 4am... im sure to have nightmares tonight... the rest pretty much zonked out, leaving zixin yong chuan watching alvin and the chipmunks on the com and me jiawei and wanying talking crap, which was so totally crap that none of us could remember what we talked about the next morning... lol had chreeesh-pee wedges to eat while we talk haha... (O.J.H has ps-ed us at this point haha)

Woke up at 1030 and this time we were determined to catch macs breakfast, which we did... when we left some nice lady came running out saying we left our laptop on the chair... huh?!?! none of us even brought out anything... lol haha turned out to be some other aunty's laptop...

Tml's orientation! still deciding whether to crash or not... and i left my retainers and wax at zhiwen's house -( hope i can survive one day without both of them... another 7 days of freedom left, another 7 days of hair left... lol i want a new authentic rubik's cube!

MY EZ-LINK CARD WAS "RETAINED" BY A BUS DRIVER TODAY BECAUSE IT WAS INVALID!!! ARGH ANYONE OUT THERE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM??
